Summary: Reporting to the Director of Talent Acqusition the Recruiter will be responsible for owning and managing the ongoing recruitment and selection of qualified talent for open positions. The Recruiter will drive creative sourcing strategies to identify the most qualified candidates and work with hiring managers at Brown University Health to represent job opportunities in the marketplace. They will also build relationships with educational institutions/programs (e.g. with various universities colleges and training programs) in order to educate and engage students/graduates in Brown University Health opportunities and cultivate talent pipelines at key schools. Responsibilities: Creates and continually assesses the effectiveness of recruiting strategies for industry-related professional positions. Manages and owns the end-to-end process of selection and placement of qualified candidates. Coaches hiring managers on clarifying job requirements (requisition) interview skills hiring trends and recruiting tools. Partners with hiring managers to make hiring recommendations that support business goals. Works with the Talent Acquisition leadership to identify areas of improvement to ensure the delivery of high quality service to hiring managers and candidates. Partners closely with Compensation to prepare pay component of job offers. Develop sourcing strategies during the *intake* meeting with the hiring manager. Coordinates and attends college or training program sessions to educate and engage students/graduates in Brown University Health opportunities and cultivate talent pipelines at key schools. Other information: QUALIFICATIONS-EDUCATION: Bachelor*s degree required or equivilant experience QUALIFICATIONS-EXPERIENCE: One plus years of recruiting experience required. Additional related experience required for specialized roles. Ability to accurately interpret and apply policies procedures and laws related to employment activities. Clear sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task Proven track record of success recruiting hard to fill positions quickly Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills essential. Interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively in sensitive and confidential issues by telephone in writing and in face-to-face contacts with the public and with associates at all levels of Brown University Health. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: No significant physical effort required. WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment as well as some exposure to typical hospital environmental hazards and concerns. SUPERVISION: No direct responsibility for staff.
