Job Summary: Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for assisting central pharmacists and technician staff in the delivery of medications and pharmaceutical products under direct supervision of a Pharmacist. Documents and updates documentation on various pharmaceutical products that are loaded in the automated dispensing machines. Communicates with pharmacists and nurses about medication delivery when necessary and appropriate. Minimum Education and Experience: 1. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. 2. Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician is required. 3. Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified, or obtain PTCB certification within 1 year of hire. Shift:
Salary Range: Minimum 29.00 per hour - Maximum 29.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
