Description

LinQuest is seeking a DoD Civilian Personnel Subject Matter Expert to support the Headquarters Space Training and Readiness Command (HQ STARCOM) S1 at Patrick Space Force Base, FL.

An active Secret clearance with the ability to attain a TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position.

A strong candidate has experience managing DoD civilian personnel activities. In this position, you will:



  • Support DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) efforts
  • Document and track hiring, recruit fill actions, management reassignments
  • Coordinate new hire security waivers and verifications
  • Coordinate position reviews to include upgrades and modifications to supervisory level
  • Update core personnel documents
  • Establish new civilian positions
  • Track and monitor civilian appraisal process
  • Train staff on CAS2Net system and processes
  • Communicate with AFPC career field manager on Key Career Positions, Palace Acquire Positions (PAQ), and Career Field Broadening Positions (i.e., recruitment, position reviews and staffing actions).
  • Coordinate with AFPC Operations Career Field Manager on applicable road show visits to include set up, creating counseling session products and tear down.
  • Assist with new hire interviews to include room reservations, setup, preparing binders, preparing applicable excel spreadsheets and teardown.
  • Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events



Required Skills/Experience:



  • Experience with AcqDemo
  • Experience with CAS2Net system and processes
  • Civilian personnel experience, preferably in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, MAJCOM / FIELDCOM or equivalent
  • Experience with providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations
  • Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Accustomed to professionally working with internal and external senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.
  • An active Secret clearance with the ability to attain a TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this job.
  • The ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF).
