Position Overview

Full Spectrum Operations LLC (FSO) is a SDVOSB JV between American Communication Solutions LLC, an SBA VetCert verified SDVOSB, and By Light Professional IT Services LLC (By Light). FSO is looking for personnel to support the Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Virginia, Local Network Enterprise Center (LNEC) Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia, and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story (JEBLCFS), Virginia, with classified and unclassified communication systems support. Personnel will provide Site Management, Infrastructure Operation and Maintenance (O&M) - Unified Communications, Inside Plant (ISP), Customer Service Telephone, Outside Plant (Cable) (OSP), Battery Maintenance, Cable Locates; Systems Management - Mission Server, Automation and Network Support, Cybersecurity, and Tier II Customer Support; Land Mobile Radio; and Configuration Management support. Work is on site and core duty hours are 0700 - 1700, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. All personnel will work an 8-hour workday.



Responsibilities

    Provide all parts and supplies required to support technical O&M functions to include items such as jacks, telephones, jumper wire, electrical tape, tie wraps, pedestals, splice cases, etc.
  • Maintain a sufficient stock of items to supply reasonable day-to- day operations.
  • Determine the source of supply using quotes or bids from multiple vendors, when reasonably available, to determine the best price and/or quickest availability.
  • Obtain purchase approval, in advance utilizing a list with item name, quantity, source, unit price, and total price for each item.
  • Ensure adequate materials are available to support the day-to-day workload.
  • Manage and maintain the Government cable yard to store spare copper cable and fiber cable for daily and emergency use.
  • Establish an audit trail accounting for the usage of parts.
  • Provide a monthly Parts Usage Report.
  • On a quarterly basis (at a minimum), prepare DA Form 2407 for turn-in at DLA Disposition Services of all broken or obsolete parts (such as telephones, pedestals), and used/damaged cable or fiber.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Required Experience/Qualifications

  • Education: Possess aa associate's degree or have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of two years' experience supporting supply/warehouse operations
  • Residential Qualification (On-the-Job) - Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSSA).


Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • Supported the U.S. Army or other DoD/Federal Agency.
  • Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
