Staffmark Workforce Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices, and appliances located in Ridgefield Park, NJ.

Position Summary:

The main function of a marketing analyst/coordinator is to research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. A typical marketing analyst/coordinator is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.

Responsibilities:



  • Oversee management of clients' Minimum Advertised Price Policy, including managing day-to-day operations and leading as-needed MAP committee meetings.
  • Provide leadership and keen decision-making guidance to Product Marketing in the determination of violation severity and the need for and administration of punitive action as warranted
  • Identify resellers who deviate from client MAP policies using 3rd party online and print tracking reports on a weekly basis and advise the Marketing team of recommended actions
  • Manage and execute corrective actions in accordance with MAP policy; follow up to ensure compliance with the requested corrections
  • Provide transparent weekly and monthly MAP violation reports / statistics to Product Marketing, Sales, and Executive leadership team
  • Advise Product Marketing in promotional planning during key shopping seasons (Back-to-School, Black Friday) to ensure MAP compliance within STA MAP guidelines
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide analytical support through data analysis and data syndication. Utilize MAP-reporting metrics to identify a causal relationship between compliance and sales lift


Requirements:



  • 4+ years of experience in market/data analytics or data engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or engineering/Information Systems
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred: Python and Tableau
  • Exceptional detail orientation with the ability to track, manage, and summarize multiple simultaneous strategic issues
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills (verbal and written): frequent interaction with product teams, sales, legal and executive teams
