We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, User Experience I to join our Engineering Loan Enablement team. This role is located in New York, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, Lake Mary, FL, Houston, TX or remote from the USA. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer to join our Loans Platform team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in user research, interactive design, and visual design, providing guidance and technical expertise for complex user experience activities. This role involves collaborating with product and development teams, creating user personas, and developing various design artifacts to meet project schedules. Key Responsibilities:

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $109,000 and $203,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. With moderate guidance, contributes to product development and strategy by providing competitive, market and financial analysis for small, non-complex products. Supports more experienced colleagues with relevant competitive, market and financial analysis to gain breadth of knowledge in relevant platforms, products and services. Expertise in product strategy and portfolio management. Leadership skills to mentor junior product managers. Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong negotiation and resource management skills. Primary responsibilities include: Overseeing multiple products or a significant product line. Developing long-term product strategies and roadmaps. Collaborating across product management teams to ensure alignment and execution of product strategy. Using subject matter expertise and experience to lead and mentor a team of product managers. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements. Bachelor's degree in business management, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 5+ years of product management with experience creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly-matrixed environment. Prior experience working in a financial industry preferred. Experience building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision. Strong knowledge and experience in agile methodologies and experience working with multiple scrum teams on simultaneous builds. Experience managing daily technical and design direction.
