Bachelor's in natural resources science. Candidate should be highly motivated with the ability to work independently, plan ahead, and lead a field crew, including having a strong work ethic. Preferred Qualification: MS or higher in ecology, wildlife ecology, natural resource/wildlife management, or related field. Previous experience working in human dimensions is desirable.

The Martin Gamebird and Managed Ecosystems ( GAME) Lab is seeking a Research Professional to help coordinate research activities and analyze data on a grant-funded project focusing on public and private lands within the Working Lands for Wildlife network. This project will work closely with landowners and partner agencies with a goal to examine bobwhite connectivity and spatial prioritization across the bobwhite range to identify locations where conservation practices should be focused to best help bobwhites and other species utilizing similar habitats. The position may also conduct related fieldwork and assist with outreach events. The Research Professional may be responsible for assisting graduate students, and hiring, training and supervising field technicians. This position is grant-funded, and renewal is contingent upon available funding.
