Student Financial Services (SFS) seeks candidates for the Student Information Systems Analyst role. This role is responsible for configuring system settings and testing functionality within Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, as well as analyzing existing processes and implementing innovative solutions to support the financial aid team. Department Summary SFS is a group of about 60 individuals working in financial aid and student billing, committed to providing equitable access to financial resources for all students. We promote a culture of connectivity and cohesiveness, working together for the good of students and families. Our Information Technology team is comprised of five team members who support the departmental business operations, and regularly interface with the enterprise IT team that supports the entire University. Position Overview This position will be responsible for streamlining processes and maximizing functionality within Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, with a focus on financial aid. This includes configuration of budgets, institutional need analysis, packaging plans, SAP, and queries to support internal and external reporting. The analyst will participate in internal and cross-department projects to improve financial aid reading, awarding, and compliance activities. In addition, the analyst will be responsible for our document imaging workflow within Perceptive Content. Successful applicants will be self-starters with the ability to adapt to changing needs with each financial aid cycle. The systems analyst will identify potential problems and enhancements by examining data and cultivating relationships with other members of the department. Once a new feature is identified, the analyst will gather requirements, work with the IT team to develop solutions, and lead user acceptance testing. Salary range: $80,000-90,000 a year Job Duties
