In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring a seamless experience for both guests and staff in one of our most iconic entertainment venues. THE JOB: The New York New York Showroom Supervisor is responsible for oversight of our front-of-house team working in one of our world-renowned venues. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us. THE STARTING PAY RATE: $31.75 / Per Hour THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Capable of working under the guidance and leadership of the department manager
- Possesses basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Familiar with the Culinary Union contract and its terms
- Proficient in both written and verbal English communication
- Able to lead and mentor a team, including supervising staff with leadership authority
- Skilled at multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong listening skills and sound judgment
- Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities, effectively engaging with business contact
- Maintains a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Three (3) years of previous Supervisory experience
- Two (2) years of previous guest services experience in a Ticket Office or Theater
- Has a well-rounded knowledge of Culinary Union contracts (Collective Bargaining Agreements)
- Proficient in fundamental mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift with the ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
