The Unit includes 21 beds dedicated to orthopedic surgeries and 16 beds for general surgery patients. Our team is proud to hold an Advanced Total Hip & Knee Replacement Certification from the Joint Commission, ensuring we meet the highest standards for joint replacement and related procedures. Orthopedic care focuses on joint replacements, spinal surgeries, shoulder surgeries and fracture repairs, while general surgery covers abdominal, urology, neurological and gynecology procedures. Nurses on this unit develop enhanced skills, such as wound care, traction, bracing, bladder irrigation and working with nasogastric tubes. We collaborate closely with physical therapists, orthopedic nurse practitioners and dedicated pharmacists, offering opportunities for professional growth and specialty certifications. JOB SUMMARY:
