Senior Director of Human Resources

The Senior Director of Human Resources leads the strategic direction and execution of the human resources function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. This individual utilizes knowledge and expertise in the human resource field to ensure proper guidance and advice is provided to management and employees in accordance with company policies and procedures, and local, state and federal employment regulations.

Essential Functions:
1. Develops and implements HR strategies aligned with the organization's mission and objectives.
2. Directs HR Business Partners across the US and manages employment journey processes.
3. Provides strategic counsel on complex HR matters, including employee relations.
4. Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and others.
5. Oversees the development and implementation of HR policies to ensure consistency and fairness.
6. Leads and mentors a team of HR professionals, fostering professional growth.
7. Manages employee grievance and disciplinary processes, ensuring fairness and consistency.
8. Serves as a liaison between management and employees, addressing workplace issues.
9. Partners with external vendors and consultants to support HR initiatives.
10. Manages HR budget and resources to optimize departmental operations.
11. Maximizes team performance, drives employee growth, and fosters a culture of accountability and respect.

Required Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience as a strategic partner and subject matter expert.
  • Proven success in implementing HR best practices and supporting business objectives.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
