Acara Solutions is Hiring a Legal Assistant for a Prestigious Law Firm in Williamsville, NY!
Are you an experienced legal professional with a background in personal injury law? This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with the potential for a hybrid schedule and a competitive salary of up to $55,000.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to a Partner, Senior Counsel, and Special Counsel specializing in Plaintiff Personal Injury.
  • Draft and manage discovery responses/demands, pleadings, legal correspondence, summons/complaints, subpoenas, and more.
  • Handle e-filing through NYSCEF with precision and accuracy.
  • Schedule depositions, court appearances, client conferences, and other key events while managing a strict calendar.
  • Organize, order, and follow up on medical records and ensure proper file management.
  • Leverage expertise in no-fault cases to ensure smooth case management.
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in personal injury law (Plaintiff experience preferred, defense will be considered)
  • Minimum 2 years proficiency in legal document drafting and court filings.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Paralegal degree or certification preferred
  • Clio legal software experience preferred
  • MAC user experience preferred
