THE JOB:
ItistheprimaryresponsibilityoftheAccountant IIItoperformvariedaccountingfunctionstoincludeassistingwithpreparationofmonthlyfinancialstatementsinaccordancewithGenerallyAcceptedAccountingPrinciplesandestablishedcompanypolicies,preparationofmonthlybalancesheetreconciliations,andperformad-hocaccountingprojectsasrequestedbymanagement.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Recordtransactionalactivitytimelyandaccuratelyinthegeneral ledger

• Evaluateandimplementinternalcontrolssothatprocessesare operatingeffectively

• Providenecessaryreportingonfinancialdata,ensuringall requestedreporting(ad-hocandroutine)arecompletedina timely manner and contain accurate information

• EnsureaccountingrecordsandpracticesadheretoGAAPand MGMResortsInternationalOperationsaccountingpolicies and remain standard across all business units

• Enhanceinternalcustomerservicethroughtheimplementationof reportingandprocessingimprovementsmaintaininga service-orientedapproachwithinallfunctionalresponsibilities

• Ensurecompliancewithallfederal,state,andinternational regulatoryrequirementsincludingSOX,gamingregulations, minimuminternalcontrolrequirements,IRS,anti-moneylaunderinglawsandinternalcontrolrequirements

• Participateinprojectimplementationforsystemsand/or processesrelatedtothecorporatedepartmentinitiatedbyother departmentsand/orbythedepartmenttoensurethatrequirementsaremetand/orworkefficientlyenhanced

• Lead,drive,communicateandbeaccountableforsharedservice strategiesthatdeliverhighquality,costeffectiveand valuesupportservicesacrossMGMResortsInternational

• Createaworkenvironmentthatpromotesteamwork,performancefeedback,recognition,mutualrespectandemployee satisfaction

• Performotherjob-relateddutiesasrequested.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting,Finance,BusinessManagement

• Minimumtwo(2)years'experienceinAccountingorFinance

PREFFERED:

• Experience pulling financial reports and utilizing them to make recommendations and decisions based on financial data

• Experience preparing and reviewing general ledger account reconciliations

• Experience with monthly and quarterly financial reporting including P&L review

• PreviousknowledgeandexperiencewithMGMResortsInternationalgamingandfinancialsystems(Machine Accounting,BravoPoker,XpertX,Mlife)

• Previous knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)

• Experience in working with all levels of management, including executives and consulting with key business stakeholders

• Bilingual, English as the primary or secondary language

• Previous knowledge and experience with IRS regulations and guidelines.

• Previousexperienceworkinginasimilarresortorfinancialsharedservicecentersetting

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Gaming registration/ work permit/ licensed in all applicable jurisdictions as required
