Nov 27, 2024

With 1,000 intelligence professionals, over $300M in sales, and serving over 1,800 clients worldwide, Recorded Future is the world's most advanced, and largest, intelligence company!

Recorded Future has an editorially independent award winning news arm, Recorded Future News.

The Click Here podcast from Recorded Future News tells stories about the people making and breaking our digital world. Alongside its sister publication The Record, it is part of a suite of premier cybersecurity news publications that draw back the curtain on hackers, defenders and policymakers at the heart of today's public discourse on national security and intelligence.

We are seeking a Producer 2 who thrives on autonomy, embraces new challenges, and is eager to shape a national Edward R. Murrow winning podcast.

What you'll do as the Producer 2:

  • Create comprehensive reporting plans and develop prep documents to prepare hosts for interviews and ensure episodes are well-structured and accurate.
  • Lead the sourcing and booking of interview subjects, finding distinctive voices that bring the episodes to life.
  • Prepare and record interviews, assisting with technical aspects to ensure high-quality audio.
  • Fact-check thoroughly and edit scripts to maintain credibility and accuracy.
  • Mix episodes, resolve sound issues, and continuously experiment with new techniques to enhance audio storytelling.
  • Collaborate on social media promotion, including creating audiograms and pitching podcast episodes to national media outlets.

What you'll bring as the Producer 2:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a full producer role, with demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of podcast and radio production independently.
  • Proven expertise in creating detailed outlines, reporting plans, and polished first drafts of scripts for both podcast and radio formats.
  • Strong experience with sound editing, mixing software, and music production to craft immersive audio experiences with deep knowledge of Descript mixes and ProTools
  • Curiosity, perseverance, and resourcefulness, with a knack for finding unique angles and voices for compelling storytelling.
  • Excellent research skills and ability to convey stories in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
