Learn more about the UC Office of the President Department Overview 40% Policy and Data Analysis, Planning & Coordination: Conducts research and analyses using publicly available datasets and published research. Synthesize admissions data and present it in a creative, clear and non-technical manner. Coordinate and assist with developing policy briefings for UC leadership on important initiatives and high visibility and sensitive issues such as eligibility and admission policy, student access, enrollment, diversity and student success. Assists in the development of UC's undergraduate admissions reports to the Regents, Academic Senate, and the legislature. Proactively identify trends, emerging issues and opportunities in higher education through environmental scanning. Contribute to an analytical agenda to inform policymaking consistent with the mission of the University of California and Undergraduate Admissions. 30% Program Support: Participate on policy and planning committees and working groups for implementation of various admission programs and operations. 25% Communications: Contributes to a wide variety of communication and written materials for different audiences including policy briefings and presentations for The Regents, senior UC leadership, the Academic Senate, the Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Admissions, and external agencies and stakeholders. 5% Other Duties: Attends classes, seminars and conferences that enhance professional expertise and foster managerial competency. Participates in activities that enhance the UC community and support the university mission.
