JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a forward-thinking Director of Behavioral Science Solutions to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your behavioral science expertise to design and implement impactful, scalable initiatives that drive business growth, enhance client relationships, and strengthen team engagement. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Behavioral Science Solutions to shape our strategic direction and ensure the success of key programs across the organization.

This position offers the opportunity to influence business outcomes through innovative behavioral insights and strategic leadership, making a real difference in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Program Leadership:

  • Spearhead strategic programs with a focus on flawless execution, driving alignment with business objectives and are tailored to the diverse needs of different teams.
  • Lead the generation and integration of client health and voice of customer insights by synthesizing data, creating data tools and dashboards, and providing senior business leaders with actionable intelligence.
  • Drive program evaluation by defining, collecting, and analyzing key outcome metrics.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on program direction, resource optimization, and risk mitigation to achieve superior outcomes and long-term success.

Innovation and Behavioral Insights Adoption:

  • Identify and champion cutting-edge behavioral science methodologies that offer deeper insights into customer behavior and preferences.
  • Design and disseminate transformative learning resources that enable stakeholders to strategically apply behavioral science principles to drive exponential business growth.
  • Utilize emerging technologies, including AI, to democratize access to behavioral insights and enhance program effectiveness.
  • Implement advanced change management strategies to ensure seamless adoption and integration of innovative solutions across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the Head of BSS to develop and present high-impact proposals that effectively communicate the value and strategic importance of new initiatives to senior leadership.

Stakeholder engagement:

  • Assume a pivotal role as an internal consultant, partnering with stakeholders to discern their needs and pinpoint opportunities for leveraging behavioral insights to propel growth and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate strategic brainstorming sessions and workshops, nurturing a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that ensure all stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the lifecycle of programs.
  • Contribute to additional strategic projects as required, displaying versatility and a proactive approach in supporting the overarching growth goals of Behavioral Science Solutions.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience with demonstrated success in using behavioral insights to drive business growth and achieve strategic goals in a commercial or consulting environment. Communication agency and/or business development experience is a plus.
  • Proven Impact: Experience in designing, managing and evaluating strategic programs for a range of stakeholders.
  • Data Savvy: Proficiency in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data from surveys and interviews. Experience with dashboards and tools like Qualtrics is an advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate and influence across all organizational levels, with strong presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies that enhance behavioral science applications is a plus.
  • Education: Degree in behavioral science (e.g., psychology, behavioral economics, public health, organizational psychology) or equivalent professional experience. Advance degree a plus.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $145,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
