Flux Resources is seeking a Water Resource Group Leader to join one of our clients as a direct Full-time employee. The office locations for this position are Boise, ID, Spokane, WA, or Coeur d'Alene. Responsibilities: As the INW Water Resources Group Leader, the primary focus for this position will be to grow our Water Resource Practice in the INW Market. The responsibilities for this role will be diverse and will include participating in both business development activities and operational management. Specific areas of expertise may include: Fish passage design and geomorphology Surface and stormwater management and planning Surface water facility design (stormwater conveyance, detention/retention basins, culverts) Floodplain management and flood mitigation Hydrologic/hydraulic analyses (drainage calculations, scour analyses, floodplain modeling, and floodplain mapping) Group Leader Responsibilities: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams and staff Supervise delivery of technical work by the INW Water Resources engineering team Ensure technical resources are available for successful project delivery Attract, develop, and retain key talent; set expectations and manage performance Serve as a pursuit champion and project manager for Water Resource projects Ensure excellence in project execution, meeting on-time, on-budget deliverables of excellent quality Review engineering documents and deliverables for compliance with contractual requirements Collaborate with Practice and Market Leaders to ensure adequate resources for current and upcoming projects Partner with water resources-focused staff for employee development and career growth Work with Market and Practice Leaders to achieve key performance and financial metrics Adhere to firmwide tools, processes, and policies, including project accounting, contracting, and quality requirements Basic Qualifications: 15+ years of experience related to water resources projects 5+ years managing or being the water lead on projects Project experience with local and state agencies Registered Professional Engineer in Idaho or Washington Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications 20+ years of experience Experience working with Departments of Transportation, local public works departments and flood control districts, and other local, state and federal regulatory agencies Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) Proficient in common engineering software packages, including: Microstation OpenRoads, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, Civil3D, CivilStorm, StormShed, MGSFlood, SMS/SRH-2D, HEC-RAS 2D, HY-8, ArcGIS, and Excel Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability and Life Insurance Health Savings and Lifestyle Spending Account with employer contribution Support for continuing education and training opportunities Paid Time Off (PTO)/Holiday Pay 401k and Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) Flexible 9/80 (every other Friday off) work schedule Holistic Wellbeing Program with a focus on physical, emotional, financial, career and community health Opportunity for growth with support and mentoring to help with professional goals Anticipated salary range for this position is $120,000 - 190,000 and is based on applicable experience and #LI-CR1
