Job Title: Technician I, Data Processing FLSA Status: Nonexempt Department: Engineering Reports to: Director, Data Analytics Flex Work Eligible! This position qualifies for the Flexible Work Policy. Employees receive 75 work days annually to work remote! The initial amount of days is prorated for the first year based on start date. GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE: The Technician I, Data Processing is responsible for managing the flow of raw data from field operations, generation of track condition reports, Quality Assurance report verification and delivery of reports and data to customers. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Minimum 1 years; experience working with computers with multiple monitors, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), Google Earth, remote desktop connection, PC systems, application simultaneously, multi-tasking, performing basic math, operations or experience with data or numerical computations, recognizing real or erroneous data patterns, and function in a fast-pace environment. Licenses/Certifications: Maintain Railroad Certifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associates Degree or 2-year college level course work emphasizing science, math, or technology. Experience: Minimum 1 years' experience working with data analysis and writing or utilizing basic SQL queries.
