Child Development Center Job Description
The Missouri S&T Child Development Center is seeking energetic individuals for Assistant Childcare Teacher positions. The selected candidates will assist in planning, organizing, and conducting a childcare program, along with providing guidance and care to children under their supervision. They will also coordinate, supervise and ensure the educational effectiveness of an assigned classroom and/or age group. Supervise and mentor aides or student assistants in the care and development of children. Focus on unity and acceptance within the classroom and provide guidance and care to the children supervised. Administer childcare center policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
An Associates' Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and some experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position has a flexible work schedule that allows for changes, is motivating to children and coworkers, has high energy, and has experience communicating effectively with parents and coworkers. Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $14.50-$16.00 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
