Position Location: Waukesha, WI 53189 Position Hours: FULLTIME 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Monday - Friday) Position Wage: Starting at $18 per hour (plus based on experience) 13% shift premium included for 3rd shift Job Description: The Blast/Production Assistant is responsible for ensuring the Blasting/Load Make-Up cell is running safely and efficiently. Responsibilities will include working in several different production areas and being adaptable to fulfill the needs of fellow team members. Inspecting equipment throughout the shop and promptly reporting any concerns to the shift foreman will be crucial as well. Principle Duties & Responsibilities: Be knowledgeable in & enforce racking & loading procedures, tagging procedure, & lot control procedures Safe & efficient operations of all production equipment Prioritize processing based on schedule Perform inspection using correct methods Document & report any maintenance issues to shift foreman Monitor & program all furnaces to process correct parameters Must complete all phases of Blaster, Inspection Operator, & Air Cell Operator Walk through the shop once an hour to inspect each furnace for accuracy & ensure their cell is running efficiently Understand the processing of all material within production areas Ensure plant organization and cleanliness Qualifications / Requirements: All hires are contingent upon a 9-panel hair follicle drug test & background check. High school diploma or equivalent preferred Acquire/maintain forklift certification 2+ years Prior factory work preferred Basic computer skills Basic math knowledge Proficient physical shape- able to lift 25 lbs. regularly English reading proficiency Safety-focused mindset Excellent written & verbal communication skills Excellent time management Attention to detail Organized Adaptability Self-motivated Able to work collaboratively with others Willingness to learn & take direction Created by Connie Larson on December 18, 2024 Print
