About our department Our Sterile Processing departments are full of fun and energetic staff members that focus on delivering high quality surgical trays. Our organization supports each team to function in an exceptionally reliable environment. About Lakeland Hospitals The health system comprises threehospitals, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations. We provide both inpatient and outpatientmedical servicesthroughout Southwest Michigan. Scope of work Provide direction and leadership for the practice of Sterile Processing functions at all Corewell Health South (CHS) St. Joseph, Michigan location for the surgical sites and endoscopic procedure areas. Drive standardized processes and safety programs that strive for zero defects and top decile measures for patient safety and quality. Direct oversight for CHS St. Joseph Sterile Processing team members and works collaboratively with Regional Clinical leadership to deliver outstanding, timely sterile processing services. Work to ensure readiness and compliance for accreditation standards. Manages, plans, and tracks capital expenditures for CHS Surgical Services, and leads equipment/instrument resource sharing initiatives across the Corewell Health enterprise. Qualifications
