CNC PROGRAMMER - MASTERCAM We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our Industrial Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs using Mastercam software for CNC lathes, vertical mills, and multi-axis horizontal boring mills. The role involves collaboration with machinist, engineers, and other team members to ensure efficient and precise manufacturing processes. Responsibilities - Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam software Program CNC lathes, vertical mills, and 4-axis horizontal boring mills for precision machining Create and modify machine setups, including tool paths and cutting parameters Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient and accurate machining Analyze and optimize programs to reduce cycle times and increase tool life Support machining department ensuring programs are executed accurately and efficiently Address issues related to programming, tooling, and machine setup, and implement corrective actions Maintain organized and accurate documentation of CNC programs, tool lists, and setup sheets Ensure all programs comply with company quality standards and industry best practices Identify and implement improvements in programming processes and techniques Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent 3-5 years hands-on manufacturing / programming CNC lathes, mills and multi-axis machines Proficiency in a CNC programming software (Mastercam Preferred) Strong understanding of G-Code and M-Code programming Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings using GD&T Knowledge of FANUC, Toshiba, and Okuma controllers preferred Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities Effective communication and teamwork skills Detail-orientated with commitment to producing high-quality work A strong willingness to be cross-trained is necessary Physical Requirements - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds Comfortable working in a shop floor setting with noise, dust, and varying temperatures Comfortable working in an office setting Kress Benefits - Company provided group health insurance including prescriptions Company provided dental insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays
