Business Unit: American Honda Finance Corp Division:Financial Services Division Work Location: Torrance - Main Campus Location Career Level:5 Salary Range:$93,600.00-$140,300.00 Job Purpose EX4 Assistant Manager Compliance Monitory American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) is seeking an Assistant Manager Compliance Monitory. The Monitory Assistant Manager is responsible for leading the monitoring arm of Compliance that is responsible for the independent review, analysis and management of AHFC's compliance risk from the Corporate Office, Service Centers, Vendors, 3rd Party Ancillary Products and Customer Complaints. Compliance Monitoring will focus on using data analytics aimed at achieving compliance to state and federal law with focus on the US Department of Justice and federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). This Assistant Manager will also manage the Compliance Budget and AHFC's consumer finance lease and retail contracts and will work with AHM Audit to provide a coordinated, independent and efficient compliance program. Key Accountabilities Key accountabilities will include but not limited to Monitoring, auditing, and understanding how business operations comply with regulation that affect AHFC's business environment Gather facts and data concerning business operations as well as develop specific subject matter expertise concerning vendors, ancillary products, and consumer complaints Engage the team in the effective root cause analysis of all relevant compliance issues using myriad of tools and resources Coach Training and assist in associate development Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Bachelor degree in Business, Management, or related field; Masters degree preferred Minimum ten (10) years finance industry experience, regulatory, legal, audit, or compliance experience Project planning and project management experience Excellent organizational and time management skills Superior oral and written communication skills Attention to detail, strong data analytical skills, strong leadership and collaboration skills.
