Key Accounts Manager - Automotive Industry
Our client, a leader in the motor vehicle manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Key Accounts Manager to oversee and grow key client relationships. This role involves managing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction to maximize sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales life cycle, acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts.

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

  • Handle daily customer inquiries regarding contracts, pricing, and commercial activities.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet client requirements and deliver on time.

  • Address client concerns and issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.

Key Attributes:

  • Relationship Building: Develop strong, trusting relationships with clients through proactive communication and a deep understanding of their business challenges.

  • Account Planning: Create strategic plans for each key account, identifying opportunities to expand business.

  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell/upsell products and services.

  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams (engineering, production, operations) to meet client needs.

  • Negotiation: Manage contract terms and pricing negotiations.

  • Market Insights: Monitor automotive trends and competitor activities.

  • Sales Reporting: Report on account performance, forecasts, and client feedback to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Experience: Proven success in account management and business development in the manufacturing or automotive industry, including APQP experience.

    Skills:

    • Strong sales track record, with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.

    • Experience working with large OEMs in the automotive industry.

    • Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce), sales forecasting, and reporting.

    • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
