Description Maine Medical CenterProfessional - Nonclinical The Executive Assistant I role works under the direction of the Regional Chief Medical Officer and is responsible for providing administrative and operational support essential to the mission of the organization and the day-to-day operation of an executive office. Key to the role is the ability to work effectively with all levels of management, consultants, contractors and the general public. Responsibilities: * Provides administrative support directly to the assigned Senior Executive leader(s), exercising confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy. * Uses business software applications (word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet) to prepare complex correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc. * Receives, screens, and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail, and email. Prepares responses to routine correspondence and inquiries as requested. Maintains files, records, and calendars. * Arranges business travel, coordinates meeting arrangements, tracks expenses, and/or supports budget process. * Mentors/leads other administrative staff as assigned. * Coordinates significant events for the organization. Provides support for high level projects including data collection, analysis and reporting as assigned. * Participates in the development and implementation of administrative standards, policies and practices as appropriate. * Mentors/leads other administrative personnel if assigned Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
