Fraud Risk Analyst

We are seeking candidates who are both team and member driven with strong communication skills and growth-oriented, for the position of Fraud Risk Analyst. This role works cross-functionally to perform a broad range of fraud functions and is responsible for working collaboratively with other departments, to research, review, and resolve reported Member fraud claims.

Key Job Functions:

• Investigates fraud cases and assigned Anti-Money Laundering (AML) cases with varying levels of complexity.
• Analyzes data and makes independent decisions on assigned cases and escalates when needed.
• Monitors and resolves daily risk/fraud alerts; and as appropriate creates and closes cases resulting from risk/fraud alerts.
• Conducts analysis through multiple systems, various search tools and third-party data to support fraud investigations and build out cases.
• Interacts and communicates with Members to validate information on related account fraud cases and AML investigations.

Required Skills and Experience:

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Fraud Certifications are a plus.
• A high school education or GED
• Proficient PC skills, including navigating web-based applications, Symitar, Synapsis, Verafin, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).

Compensation ranges are based on market data that enables Justice Federal Credit Union to remain competitive with other credit unions of similar asset size.
