Special consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in spatial data analysis, innovative approaches to data analytics, and/or archaeology related policy. This is an academic year, tenure-track position with a 2/2 teaching load. The successful applicant will demonstrate a willingness to collaborate with colleagues in the department to build out newly formed graduate programs, apply for external funds, publish research, and engage in teaching and service. Responsibilities Develop a robust, externally funded research program in environmental or natural resource sociology. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Advise and mentor students. Provide service to the department, university and profession. Contribute to the diversity, inclusion and retention priorities of the department, university, and profession.
