Investment Management Lateral

Chapman and Cutler LLP is seeking an Associate to join our Investment Management practice in the Corporate and Securities Department of the Firm's Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have two to six years of experience in the investment company and asset management space, with an emphasis on the registered fund space, including the following:

• Product-specific experience in open-end funds (mutual funds), closed-end funds and exchange-traded funds
• 1940 Act fund governance

The candidate should also possess impressive academic credentials; the ability to simultaneously and efficiently handle multiple projects; strong interpersonal, analytical, oral communication and writing skills; and an understanding of business, industry and market issues. Candidate must be a member in good standing or eligible to waive into the Illinois Bar.

In accordance with the Illinois Pay Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this Chicago position is between $235,000 to $390,000.
