Painter

FieldBridge Energy seeks Painter to work in Carterville, IL for a global water technology company.

Pay / Schedule: $20-21/hr (DOE). M-F 7 am - 3:30 pm + OT Opportunity. At 50 hours per week, earn weekly paychecks of up to $1,155 gross.

The Painter position involves preparing, sandblasting, and applying protective and decorative paint finishes to various products according to specific guidelines and customer requirements. This role requires keen attention to detail, as the painter must follow safety protocols while ensuring that surfaces are adequately prepared and coated. The Painter I will read and understand paint specifications from different manufacturers, mix paints to meet project specifications, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. The role demands effective communication with internal and external customers to meet their needs and expectations.

Key Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with painting techniques.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, charts, and schematics; familiarity with various painting techniques.
• Safety Compliance: Knowledge of workplace safety policies and guidelines related to painting and finishing.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and pass a yearly pulmonary function test.
