Job Summary The Project Manager organizes and coordinates interdisciplinary projects and process improvement activities to enable Grady Health System to achieve its overall strategy, goals and objectives. Utilizes project management and process improvement tools and industry-leading standards to train and educate leaders/managers, and to lead project teams in implementing best practices, systems, and processes to improve operational effectiveness. Job Responsibilities Prepares and delivers presentations to executives, stakeholders, and support resources, as necessary. Develops and manages project scorecards to validate sustainability of results. Analyzes and interprets internal process and people data to identify process enhancement opportunities. Demonstrates expert knowledge and proficiency in the use of Project Management principles, methodologies, and tools as well as industry-leading standards for project and process management Assists in the management and implementation of a portfolio of strategic initiatives and projects on behalf of Grady's Executive team. Facilitates problem solving, decision-making, and action planning meetings. Provides and practices effective communication strategies to promote a process-focused culture. Leads interdisciplinary projects and teams to address process improvement opportunities and to implement mission-critical, cross-functional projects. Education Required: Bachelor's Degree. Preferred: Master's Degree. Experience Required: Five (5) or more years of experience in project management and/or process improvement is required. Preferred: Three (3) years of healthcare experience. Skills/Certs/License Required: -Must be proficient in the use of Project Management principles, methodologies, and tools as well as industry-leading process improvement standards, IT tools such as Microsoft Office, project management, and database management tools.
