Overview
Facilities is seeking to fill vacancies on its Event Operations Crew. This is a crew position for part time employee. The position is responsible for providing varying services during athletic events and to outside groups using the university. Normal duties will include daily custodial support at the Spectrum and Stadium. Additionally, this position is responsible for facility related issues during events. This includes event set up, coverage during events and post event supervision of clean up.

Responsibilities
As an Event Services Crew Member,
  • You will work closely with other crew members in helping to manage and complete the daily event-related tasks in the Spectrum and Stadium.
  • You must be able to work effectively with little supervision and be highly self-motivated.
  • This job requires that you be present and punctual at all events we provide support for.
  • A very flexible schedule is required, as the job does include working nights, weekends, and holidays, as events dictate.

The position requires considerable physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including heavy lifting (50 pounds) and/or pushing and pulling of heavy objects. Employees must be prepared to assume uncomfortable positions such as crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Additionally, the work environment can include confined or narrow spaces. Employees must adhere to safety precautions and may be required to use protective equipment.
