Huntsman Chemical Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to join the Corporate Occupational Health Department. This role provides direct support to the Global Occupational Health Director and the Occupational Health Nurse Program Manager at our global headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.

In summary, as the Administrative Assistant, you will:

  • Coordinate medical examinations for associates across the United States, collaborating with associates, EHS representatives, and HR teams across various locations.
  • Liaise with third-party occupational health clinics to obtain medical records and troubleshoot missing examinations or documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly reports using Cority to provide stakeholders with updates on operational and associate statuses.
  • Assist the Corporate Medical Director and Nurse Program Manager with developing presentations, conducting analyses, and preparing data for utilization reviews.
  • Assist in the maintenance of occupational health records, ensuring all records are maintained in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Maintain and manage medical records, including retrieving lab results and entering data into electronic systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and HIPAA regulations through company-provided training.
  • Handle secure transmission of employee paperwork (e.g., post-exam and RTW forms) with proper consent and via secure channels.
  • Daily utilization of electronic medical records using Cority software to fulfill day to day operational requirements (training provided).
  • Secure shredding of Personal Health Information (PHI) and other confidential documents as required.
  • Self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player and motivated, fast learner

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School or GED Diploma.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new electronic medical record software applications.
  • Motivated, team-oriented individual with a proactive approach to work.
  • Willingness to complete HIPAA and Data Privacy training provided by the company.
