Diagnostic Technician I

The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University is seeking applicants for a Diagnostic Technician I position. This position will conduct laboratory work related but not limited to eukaryotic cell culture, virus culture, generation and maintenance of primary cells. General laboratory tasks include making buffers, media and maintaining inventories for biological materials.

This position is on-site.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires a high school diploma.
• Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Strong data entry, time management and organizational skills
• Experience in cell/virus culture
