Position Summary The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking a highly adaptable Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support. This position will assist with a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department. The role includes overseeing general office functions, providing support to faculty and staff, and responding to student and visitor inquiries. The role involves the ability to prioritize workflow, maintain flexibility, work in a highly trafficked office setting, and work as part of a team. Responsibilities General Office Support - 60%
Administrative Assistance - 25%
Communications and Outreach - 10%

Salary for Announcement Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000. The anticipated hiring range is $48,000 - $52,000. This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits.
