Enterprise Cybersecurity Identity Engineer

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will be accountable for the identity cyber solution stack, ensure identity solution controls are appropriately configured, and continually reduce identity cybersecurity risk. You will ensure identity solutions such as AzureAD, Okta, or SailPoint and their configurations on production, test, and extended enterprise environments meet Booz Allen's security standards. This includes developing and promoting configuration policy changes in partnership with the Identity Team, monitoring compliance, performing regular assessments to identify and remediate any deviations, and working closely with the identity teams to promote cybersecurity culture. You will originate, facilitate, and lead IT and security teams efforts to deploy and maintain Identity protection solutions, ensuring that all Identities controls are properly configured to defend against emerging threats. Your expertise in Identity configuration management will be crucial in maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment. Additionally, partner with cyber threat and security operations to drive threat-informed configurations.

You will perform security reviews based on the security stack philosophies and standards, with a primary responsibility for leading identity security outcomes in collaboration with technical sector experts. You'll provide an integrated security ecosystem to deter, detect, defend, and respond to business-impacting security, operational security, and risk issues related to identity management and Identity configurations.

You'll leverage skills in independently conducting technical analysis of security and business problems, as well as threats, incidents, investigations, workforce protection, and other general security-related issues. You'll communicate and participate in coordinating response and defensive actions over a variety of security disciplines, disseminating technical information as appropriate in support of Booz Allen's critical business, go-to-market, and operational infrastructure needs.

You Have:

• 7+ years of experience with Identity IT solution management, including EntraID, Sailpoint, Okta, or RBAC

• 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity solution involvement, including Conditional Access, PAM, SSO, or MFA

• Experience in Identity solution configuration management, including policy creation, configuration tuning, and change management for common Industry cyber solutions such as AzureAD, SailPoint, Okta, or M365

• Experience with Identity cybersecurity configuration management and monitoring tools such as EntraID, CyberArk, or Okta, and identity, role, and access optimization techniques

• Experience with Identity governance processes and entitlement management programs

• Knowledge of system, network, application, and security architectures, cybersecurity solutions, key cyber processes such as incident handling, risk measurement, and change management, and key cyber threats, including nation state actors, malware or ransomware, command and control infrastructures, and mitigations

• Ability to collaborate with the professional confidence and credibility to effectively engage and interact with technologists and leaders across the enterprise

• Ability to quickly comprehend complex problems, draw logical conclusions, make sound decisions, develop solutions, and drive closure

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience working in the cyber industry, or 7+ years of experience working in the cyber industry in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with programming or scripting languages

• Knowledge of the use of databases for reporting, including SQL language

• Knowledge of the applications of Artificial Intelligence in security

• Ability to design, deploy, and maintain Identity security solutions and configurations in enterprise class organizationswith over 20,000 identities

• IT Engineering Certification
