Job Description and Duties

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Administrative Services leadership team!

The Associate Director (AD), Office of Business Services (OBS) is responsible for the direct oversight over the Business Management and Procurement Branch covering Business Operations, Procurement and Fleet Management & Acquisition sections. The AD provides subject matter expertise; develops, implements, modifies, and enforces compliance with contracting, procurement, and business services policies statewide; and oversees the administration of training for OBS staff and external customers.

Working Conditions

The Office of Business Services location offers a secured access facility with an on-site fitness center, free parking, as well as a variety of nearby shopping locations.

The position is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office a minimum of two days per week and as needed/required. Specific telework schedules may be discussed further during the interview process. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
