IT Application Engineer

An IT Application Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Evendale, OH 45215. This is a full time, direct hire position with full benefits. To be considered for this role, have an associate degree, or a equivalent competency level, be a US citizen, and must possess an S/SSBI clearance or be willing to obtain one. Additionally, you must hold a current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent or be willing to obtain one

Ideal candidates will have a competency level equivalent to an associate degree plus a minimum of four (4) years" work experience. Candidates should be familiar with installation, architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of various components of multi-tier applications in an enterprise environment. Excellent candidates will have supported production manufacturing environments.

Required Qualifications:
* An associate degree, or a equivalent competency level
* 4+ years of experience with Windows/Windows Server
* 2+ years of experience Linux
* 2+ years of application or platform development experience
* Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
* Active S/SSBI clearance or be willing to obtain one
* Experience supporting engineering applications
* Leadership experience
* Experience with using Project Management Tools
* Experience with ServiceNow or other similar incident and problem management tools
* Strong documentation skills and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
* Strong vendor relationship skills
* Able to operate independently
* Great attention to detail
* Good interpersonal and clear communication

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $90,000-$110,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
