Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 10 vulnerability analysts. As the Task Lead, the candidate's responsibilities include interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards. The Task lead will also provide front office support to the government director, as needed.

The Task Lead will manage the technical execution of the team, to include:

    Collect/analyze prior 6-month Vulnerability Lifecycle/Process Metrics
  • Research and coordinate all open reports with appropriate staffing to close.
  • Validate any open reports that have not been completed and have mitigation actions.
  • Validate that all reports with unmitigated vulnerabilities are returned to appropriate government entities
  • Ensure that all completed reports have finalized after-action assessments.

Additionally, the candidate will work with employees to:

  • Provide functional knowledge of operational and support processes for their service area.
  • Clarify/resolve process-related activities for technical team.
  • Understand existing and proposed delivery process, procedures, and tools by function.
  • Monitor and report progress against plans through final acceptance and signoff.
  • Manage, coordinate, and resolve project issues, decisions, and risks.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree.
  • Active/current Secretsecurity clearance required.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a hybrid on-site/remote work team.
  • Exceptional communication skills including demonstrated experience briefing senior government executives and/or military leaders.
  • Demonstrated strong customer and partner relationship building skills.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships, as well as handle complaints, settle disputes and resolve conflicts.

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree BS/BA/MS/MA Major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security orrelated field.
  • Experience management/leading diverse groups of analyst support personnel.
  • Experience working in a Security Monitoring/Security Operations Center environment (SOC).
  • Demonstrated motivation to maintain awareness of current cybersecurity and threat intelligence news and trends.
  • CEH,CCNA-Security,CySA+,GCIH,GICSP,PenTest+ or similar certificationa plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up to support the customer's needs, clearly communicate (orally & written) ideas, work autonomously, take the initiative to provide creative alternatives to intractable challenges or systemic problems.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
