Job Overview: As our Maintenance Technician, you'll be the backbone of our facility operations. You'll work alongside our engineering team to ensure our buildings and equipment are in top-notch condition, creating comfortable and safe environments for our clients. A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Technician Start your morning by reviewing work orders and prioritizing tasks for the day Tackle a variety of maintenance challenges, from replacing lighting to troubleshooting plumbing issues Collaborate with Operating Engineers to perform preventive maintenance on critical systems Use your problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment Update work orders in real time using our state-of-the-art CMMS system Conduct facility inspections, ensuring everything meets our high standards Wrap up your day knowing you've made a tangible difference in the functionality and safety of our facilities Who We're Looking For A high school graduate or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in general building maintenance Someone who's comfortable with hand and power tools and has basic plumbing and electrical knowledge A team player with strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset An individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty A safety-conscious professional who's committed to ongoing learning and improvement Physical Environment This role is perfect for those who enjoy an active workday. You'll be on your feet, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various conditions. Whether you're in a boiler room or on a rooftop, each day brings new challenges and experiences.
