Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The University of Arkansas Grantham is looking for a REMOTE Faculty Manager in the following states: AR, AL, AZ, DE, FL, GA, KS, IA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NE, NJ, NM, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI and WY.Please only apply if you are able to live and work full-time in one of the states listed above. POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for conducting in-depth reviews of online classes, providing feedback/academic coaching and participates in faculty scheduling. The role ensures that the appropriate academic performance expectations are met. Manage multiple and concurrent departmental projects. A successful candidate will demonstrate a high attention to detail, effective communication skills and problem-solving abilities. The position reports to the Director of Faculty, will work closely with other members of the academic team and perform other duties as assigned. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 50% - People Management *Supervise part-time faculty *Monitor and evaluate part-time faculty daily classroom performance to ensure academic expectations are being met and notify faculty regarding their performance in a timely manner *Other duties as assigned *Regularly provide course check-ups to various faculty 40% - Operational Management *Conduct bi-weekly faculty performance meetings with the program chairs *Utilize the appropriate academic dashboard systems and reports to monitor faculty engagement *Teach one course a year 5% - Stakeholder Engagement *Collaboratively participate in the hiring, training, and motivating of part-time faculty *Collaboratively complete part-time faculty performance appraisals *Implement mentoring activities for new and continuing part-time faculty 5% - Continuous Learning and Development *Continuously update skills and knowledge through required training *Seek feedback and opportunities for growth to enhance expertise and effectiveness Qualifications: EDUCATION:
