Job Description

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its Indianapolis 551 operations based in Carmel, IN. This individual will:

    Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
  • Prepare RFI's and submittals
  • Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders
  • Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen
  • Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation
  • Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program


Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in construction management (e.g., Field Engineer, Project Engineer, etc.) required
  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline, or comparable work experience
  • Must have OSHA 30 certification
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Possess clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings
  • Showcase strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
  • Customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and employees at all levels
  • Displays critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize, work on multiple tasks concurrently, and meet deadlines
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
  • Works well under pressure and deadlines

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with insulation and/or specialty services is preferred
  • Local to the Indianapolis metro area
