Service Orders Supervisor

Where you'll be:

This position will be based in the Springfield, TN.

All about the role:

This role involves two primary responsibilities: picking parts from the warehouse and preparing them for shipment and working closely with manufacturing operations to schedule the production of parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, the ability to work well with others, and adaptability to changing demands.

What you'll do:

  • Manufacturing Operations: Scheduling Production of Parts.

  • Production Scheduling:Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and optimize the use of manufacturing resources.

  • Coordination:Work closely with production, sales, and purchasing teams to adjust schedules as needed to meet production goals.

  • Resource Management:Ensure all necessary resources, including labor, materials, and machinery, are available for production.

  • Monitoring:Track the progress of production activities and resolve any potential delays or issues that may arise.

  • Reporting:Compile and communicate production status reports to management and other stakeholders.

  • Owns and develops JDS and Skills matrix and creates a positive work environment, fostering open communication and dialogue.

  • Ensures effective performance evaluations, appropriate counseling measures and accurate and timely timecard inputs.

  • Supports the Electrolux Management System and implements continuous improvement processes and cost savings.

  • Leads line balancing, time studies, SMED, problem solving and ensures labor map adherence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or a related field will be preferred.

  • Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain roles.

  • Analytical skills, critical thinking.

  • Communication skills for effective collaboration with Internal Factories and Internal Teams.

  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Ability to adapt to changes in market conditions and business priorities.

  • Proficiency in using PC-based applications (Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Attention to Detail:High accuracy and attention to detail to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and production schedules are maintained.

  • Quality Focus:Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in both warehouse and production activities.

  • Teamwork:Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments.

  • Adaptability:Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience:Previous experience in warehouse operations and/or production scheduling is preferred but not required.
