Field Service Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Baltimore, MD. This position will be responsible for the install and service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $20 - $40/hr. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Install dormakaba equipment in commercial buildings
• Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Valid current driver's license and demonstrated history of safe driving
• Experience in mechanical, construction, or electrical field with ability to use power tools and basic knowledge of electrical principles
• Ability to use electronic devices such as tablets and smart phones
• Physical requirements include ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, frequent standing, stooping, crawling, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, and working overhead

WHAT WE PREFER

• AAADM certification
• 2+ years experience as automatic door installer or service technician
