General Purpose

Lead the development, implementation, and sustainment of our go-to-market strategies to maximize store execution performance, optimize cost to serve, and achieve internal/external customer satisfaction. You will serve as a key thought leader, offering strategic planning support to leadership across all business areas, with a particular emphasis on commercial operations. You will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of these strategies. This includes working with executive leadership, sales operations, distribution, supply chain, finance, IT, sales and marketing, and human resources.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Own the development and deployment of service models
  • Improve Customer Service and optimize Cost to Serve; Destination Planning; Assessment; Design; Plan/Build; Execution; Sustainment.
  • Lead company-wide, cross-functional projects & initiatives
  • Lead the planning, execution, and sustainment of multiple strategic projects with strong project and change management focus. Steer & influence the business and business leaders in a new direction when necessary
  • Build annual & multi-year business plans
  • Create business plans partnering with finance, functional leaders, operational leaders, & executive leadership. Demonstrate strong business acumen & leadership through aligning & influencing stakeholders.
  • Inform executive leadership regularly on transformation initiatives and business performance under your responsibility.
  • Communicate long & short-term vision opportunities clearly and simply, while building and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional partners, executive leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Identify areas of improvement in commercial operations execution & strategy
  • Collaborate with business areas and engage frontline teams to improve key processes impacting frontline operations effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 20-40% travel

  • Project & Change Management & Implementation
  • Negotiation & Influence
  • Collaborative Communication & Teamwork
  • Business Case Development

Intermediate Skills in the following:

  • Indirect/Direct Leadership
  • Long/Short-Term Business Planning
  • Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Budget or P&L Financial Ownership
  • CPG Operations Experience
  • Business Analytics

Basic Skills in the following:

  • Process Improvement (OE/Lean Six Sigma)
