Overview
The Phlebotomist Lead has the primary responsibility of providing functional guidance to the phlebotomy team and acting as a resource person while assuring proper procurement of specimens for clinical testing. This may include collection, transportation, ordering, labeling and processing of specimens as well as assisting with scheduling, providing direction, and working with the Coordinator and Manager to ensure a smoothly-run, patient-centric phlebotomy department. Qualifications License/Certifications: Education: Other Knowledge/Skills: Phlebotomy Responsibilities Oversees the daily operations of the procurement/processing area and acts as a resource to the employees in that section
Functions in the role of key contact and problem resolution
Responsible for training and oversight of new phlebotomy staff
Performs additional support duties not necessarily directly related to Procurement and Customer Service

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $19.98per hour - $32.37per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
