Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

Pay Range: $89,000 - $101,000
Job Summary:

The Financial Data Solutions Architect will be responsible to help lead Hydro's effort to design and build our Next Generation Business Intelligence (B.I) reporting platform, supporting our internal Finance Global Services team. This is a pivotal role where the ideal candidate needs to have a strong financial acumen, coupled with in-depth working knowledge / technical expertise to lead functional and technical design within an SAP environment. This position reports to the ENA Digital Portfolio Manager.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experienceleading architecture and design with a strong focus on Business Analysis and Data Architecture.
  • Deep financial acumen with hands-on end-to-end business domain knowledge in Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes (SAP S4/Hana environment required, Oracle experience a bonus).
  • In-depth experience leading functional and technical design with an emphasis on data architecture and mapping (SAP S4/Hana environment required, Oracle experience is a bonus).
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, data analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft BI tools for the purpose of understanding and conveying the feasibility and impact of potential solutions.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Familiarity working within an Agile SCRUM environment.
  • Experience with Snowflake Cloud-based platform is a plus.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in an environment with frequent changes and interruptions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage and drive continuous collaboration with key internal stakeholders, to understand, analyze, and document business reporting needs and objectives.
  • Translate on a prioritized basis business objectives and needs into detailed and actionable requirements then into supporting functional and technical design specifications.
  • Work closely with Hydro's development team to validate requirements are successfully developed, meeting requirement and design intent.
  • Use knowledge of business processes, systems, and industry standards to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Help design the vision and blueprint of the Finance team's data framework.
  • Prepare and/or participate in reviews of conceptual mock-ups (Wire Frames) to drive target state Reporting requirements and design.
  • Occasional travel required.
