JOB SUMMARY

Paid Social Associate Director has 5+ years of experience and is responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of the social media paid campaigns across all relevant platforms for Pharma DTC and HCP accounts. They will be client-facing and are responsible for managing day-to-day Paid Social Media activities for clients, including strategy, planning, implementing, analyzing, reporting, and optimizing Paid Social campaigns. The Associate Director will be hands-on in developing and advancing platform campaigns, budget allocations and spearheading reporting insights. They should be an advisor for the agency and clients on Paid social media best practices, case studies and key learnings, as well as developing and implementing Paid Social media processes and protocols. They will work alongside all other media teams to guarantee the social plan is in lockstep with the overall brand strategy. They will also support the overall team by training the social media specialist to foster ongoing education and growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Client/Project Management: Help lead the client relationship and manage the day-to-day oversight of deliverables. Partners closely with leaders across agency and AOR partners.

Strategic Planning: Oversee key brand and tactical planning deliverables and presentations.

Presentations: Represent paid social on client and internal calls, delivering reports and providing recommendations.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, plan, coordinate, and oversee Paid Social campaigns across all social platforms, including Meta, TikTok, X, Reddit and LinkedIn.

- Knowledge of and prior experience executing in-platform campaigns across Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.

- Strategize and create Paid Social media plans in accordance with budgeting, including ongoing project management.

- Stay well-informed of platform targeting and tactical offerings while ensuring highest standards for pharmaceutical advertising.

- Work with marketing sciences to set benchmarks for industry comparison and build actionable KPIs.

- Partner with marketing sciences to create, manage, report and optimize social media campaigns and determine best tracking methods for campaign reporting.

- Prioritize and coordinate outbound social engagement opportunities, using thorough insights and analysis to develop tactics to amplify and grow client brand recognition and trust.

- Help oversee Paid Social media analytics, auditing, and reporting.

- Guide process, procedure, and integration with the Search, Digital Media, & Analytics teams.

- Provide training and mentorship to entry level employees on a consistent basis.

- Stay up-to-date of new tools, trends, and best practices in Paid Social marketplace through research and/or industry events and conferences.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study is preferred

EXPERIENCE

5+ years in paid Social Media marketing required

Healthcare and Pharmaceutical experience is preferred

Meta Blueprint experience is preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Expert knowledge of paid social platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), social media best practices, and experience developing cross-channel targeting strategies.

* Experience in mentoring and team building.

* Experience supporting large accounts and client deliverables.

* Direct experience working in multiple social platforms and tech stack tools to collect insights, analyze and create recommendations.

* Direct experience in working with audience personas to plan strategy to connect with diverse audiences.

* Experience in developing social media KPIs, creating pixels and tracking URLs for Google Analytics and work across teams to coordinate as part of campaign development.

* Ability to judge and quantify results of media efforts placed on behalf of our clients (i.e., understand/describe impact of results, compare actual results to needs of client) and the ability to translate this data into a story.

* Working knowledge of online performance tracking and measurement tools.

* Ability to think critically, multi-task, and keep up in a fast-paced environment

* Successfully collaborate with multiple personalities and communicate with all levels of the organization

* Able to convey compelling messages and transform complex concepts into clear communications

* Can plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns through Meta Business Manager, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok self-serve platforms.

Salary
$110,000.00 - $145,000.00
The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
