Job Summary and Responsibilities
Acentra seeks a Culture and Development Director to join our growing team. Job Summary: The Director of Culture and Development is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive strategies that align organizational culture with business objectives, ensure employee growth and satisfaction, and lead programs that enhance workforce capabilities and adaptability. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Employee Experience, this position will lead the Employee Engagement and Learning and Development teams, collaborating with or senior and cross-functional leadership teams to ensure that our workplace culture reflects our core values, and supports our business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision for employee engagement, utilizing the principles of change management and leadership development along with a hands-on approach to implementing initiatives that deliver on our cultural commitments that enable Acentra Health to accelerate better outcomes for employees and clients. Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of an innovative employee engagement and development strategies that encompass all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, engagement and well-being, and retention.
- Oversee a team of HR professionals focused on employee engagement and learning and organizational development initiatives, setting clear objectives, and providing guidance and support to achieve them.
- Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to integrate the employee experience strategy with the company's overall business goals and objectives, incorporating employee feedback into meaningful workplace initiatives and improvements.
- Lead the administration of the recognition platform, including swag and service awards programs and corresponding budgets.
- Oversee Gallup Access System administration, collaborating with Gallup on execution of engagement and leadership development strategies and enhancing leader engagement with Gallup tools and resources.
- Design and implement leadership development programs that prepare current and emerging leaders for success in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Develop robust career development frameworks and learning pathways that support employees in achieving their professional goals.
- Oversee the design and delivery of soft skills, and compliance training programs tailored to organizational needs.
- Refine and optimize performance management systems to encourage continuous feedback and professional growth.
- Partner with HR Technology and Talent Acquisition teams to enhance employee experience within Cornerstone LMS, Ed Cast LXP, and Talent Marketplace.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on key initiatives, progress, and outcomes.
- Make data-drive decisions utilizing engagement, learning, and performance metrics to assess program effectiveness and inform future initiatives.
- Develop strategies to increase employee readiness and resilience in response to organizational changes, leveraging training and communication.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on employee engagement, learning and development, change management or HR related area.
- Minimum of three years' experience with Cornerstone Learning Management System, including implementation.
- Proven experience leading learning and development in a decentralized model, collaborating with multiple stakeholders with various training needs (e.g., technology, compliance, customer care, etc.), and establishing a governance structure that enabled strategy execution.
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics and trends.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and presentation skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and demonstrate the impact of employee engagement and learning initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring and motivating teams and influencing at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with HR technology solutions and platforms that support employee engagement and feedback.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Master's degree or relevant advanced certification preferred.
- Experience with Cornerstone's Ed Cast LXP and Talent Marketplace modules, including building a skills ontology and career architecture.
- Relevant certifications in organizational development or related areas (e.g., Organizational Change Management).
- Technical background with implementation experience with LMS, HRIS, and TA platforms.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
Pay Range
Up to USD $180,000.00/Yr.
