Summary: Data Recognition Corporation, a technology leader in educational assessments, is looking for a senior software developer to be part of a team supporting and enhancing enterprise level products. Looking for a solid team player and technical leader with excellent oral and written communication skills. You will be working primarily with Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, Puppet. Future opportunities for application migrations to Angular, Typescript, Node.js, No-SQL/Dynamo, AWS technologies.

Essential Qualifications

* Experience with the following Microsoft technologies: .NET Framework (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET)

* Experience with MVC or MVVM

* SQL experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)

* Experience with RESTful web services

* Web API, REST API, TFS, MSBuild

* Proficiency with front-end languages: CSS, HTML and JavaScript

* Familiarity with Open-Source work management tools: JIRA, Jenkins, and Git

* Good trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities

* Strong analysis and design skills

* Proficiency in following coding best practices and patterns

* Unit and Integration Tests practices and experience

* Proven experience working in a team setting on large scale projects
* Proven experience working with Agile methodologies for delivering software

* Ability to review and understand business requirements
* Ability to create, review and maintain technical design documentation
* Solid understanding of enterprise-class system concepts (Deployment, Performance, Scalability,
Availability, and Security)
* Ability to relate effectively and work respectfully with diverse work groups

* Ability to consistently perform well during times of increased workload

* Ability Set and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Angular, Node.js, Typescript, HTML5, Puppet

* SQL Server SSRS, SSIS

* Microservices architecture

* Education or Assessment related experience
* Experience with cloud technologies
