Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Zscaler Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Zscaler Internet Access Zscaler Private Access Palo Alto Prisma and Reverse Proxy Tools. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our systems and data.

  • Communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Manage and operate ZIA, ZPA & ZDX services.
  • Develop strategies to improve platform performance and stability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and integrate new features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, user issues, and initiate bug fixes.
  • Maintain technical documentation HLD / LLD, including architecture and security parameters.
  • Evaluate security systems and tools while applying best practices.
  • Act as point of escalation for P1/P2 issues.
  • Share knowledge among team to help them better understand the Zscaler Product.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage security solutions including Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access to protect company data.
  • Monitor and analyze security events and incidents using Palo Alto Prisma to ensure timely detection and response.
  • Configure and maintain reverse proxy tools to secure web applications and services.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security-related issues and incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis of security incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends threats and technologies to continuously improve the security posture of the organization.
  • Lead security awareness training programs to educate employees on security best practices and policies.
  • Prepare and present security reports to management highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in security audits and assessments conducted by external parties to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the resilience of critical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Must have strong experience with Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access.
  • Must have expertise in Palo Alto Prisma for monitoring and analyzing security events.
  • Must have experience with reverse proxy tools for securing web applications.
  • Nice to have knowledge of security policies and procedures development.
  • Nice to have experience in conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Nice to have skills in providing security guidance and support to internal teams.
  • Nice to have experience in preparing and presenting security reports to management.
  • Nice to have skills in leading security awareness training programs

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 02/16/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $84,600 - $154,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
